The approval pathway for works associated with existing buildings and precincts upon the University campus varies depending on the extent of work and requirements under State Environmental Planning Policy (Educational Establishments and Child Care Facilities) 2017 (SEPP EE&CCF). Planning advice and consultation services are required to establish the approval pathway and to complete the relevant environmental assessments required under the SEPP EE&CCF.
The University engages us as their preferred contractor, to confirm works are consistent with the requirements under Part 5 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979. Works are completed within 2 to 3 weeks of engagement enabling shorter determination times for the relevant Authority. Our reliability and local knowledge of the site instils confidence and reassurance for the University.
Scope of work for the projects comprise of:
- Desktop analysis
- Preliminary town planning advice to confirm approval requirements under SEPP EE&CCF.
- Preparation of Review of Environmental Factors (as required)
- Preparation of draft conditions of consent for the relevant Authority (as required)
