M&P is celebrating 70 years!

70

Tradition Shaping Tomorrow

What started in 1950 as a desire by our founders, John Monteath & Bob Powys, to play a leading role in helping shape and build the future of the region, has grown and expanded into the company we are today. With that desire as strong now as it was then, M&P has proudly led the way for land, property and infrastructure development solutions for 70 years, with no plans to slow down.

As we step into our platinum year, we continue our tradition of employing great people and utilising the latest equipment and technology to shape, manage and deliver projects for our clients through our town planning, surveying, project management and 3D laser scanning, working with government agencies, leading public companies, private businesses and small investors, in the energy and resource, transport, infrastructure, and land and property development sectors.

Our purpose now, and has always been, to strive to help our clients create a better tomorrow.

We have, quite literally, proven our dedication to that purpose through our involvement in the delivery of industrial, commercial and residential developments that have created the workplaces, homes and environments of people in our communities, and our priority is to ensure these are the highest quality possible.

To mark our 70th year, we are very excited to introduce our brand new website, better representing and showcasing our history, some of the key projects we have been involved with as well as our services and capabilities.

Based in Newcastle, Sydney, Muswellbrook and Gunnedah, our team comprises highly skilled, motivated experts in their respective fields, collaborating with our clients to provide personalised solutions with a great capacity to meet the demands of each and every job.

Some of our proudest projects have been those that represent the heart of these communities. We care deeply about a sustainable future for the communities we work with and our approach to our projects is wrapped in this ethos. We have innovative processes and strategies to ensure we support growth and the environment every step of the way. This has been evidenced in our ongoing work with the University of Newcastle since the early beginnings of the Shortland Campus, the delivery of the Fern Bay Seaside Estate, Newcastle Light Rail Project and Pacific Dunes.

For 70 years we have been dedicated to delivering quality services and advice, and we look forward to continuing that tradition, to help shape the future with innovative solutions and progressive processes for (at least) another 70 years.
